People Skills - Trainer Development

DESGINED FOR people who have been identified within an organisation as potential trainers, or wish to develop training skills. Participants will have a specialist area of practical, technical or managerial expertise.

AIMS TO:

  • Develop confidence and skill to design, organise and deliver training
  • Encourage a participative style to help trainees think and learn
  • Equip participants with a range of techniques to create successful training sessions
  • Make better use of training aids and equipment

ACHIEVED BY:

  • A two part non-residential course of 4 days with 1-2 months in-between. The two 2-day format allows easier release from work
  • A practical project links the units to encourage application of learning and practice back at work
  • Experienced trainers using a participative and practical style to create a stimulating, enjoyable and challenging learning environment
  • Cross fertilisation of ideas and feedback from peers in similar roles. The same participants and trainer will complete the series as a group
