Challenging Processes - Planning and Organising Work

Being creatures of habit we tend to do things the way they have always been done. This course effectively challenges participants to actively look for ways to make existing routine jobs easier, quicker, safer or more able to consistently achieve the required standards. New tasks can also be systematically planned to consider all the options, and achieve specified aims.

AIMS TO

Participants will be better able to:-

  • Describe the aim of tasks they are involved with and the standards that need to be achieved
  • Use a systematic approach to planning jobs and monitoring progress
  • Identify tasks which would benefit from being re-planned
  • Monitor and record a job using aspects of method study to suggest time cost or effort saving
