Business Skills - Working Through Problems and Decision Making

It can often be hard to see round a problem looming, either because it is too big or because you are standing too close to it. Other people’s view of the issue may be quite different to your own, confusing the problem further. This practical workshop shares the techniques needed to analyse problems, generate ideas to resolve them and help to decide which would then be most effective. It will enable participants to work through a real problem, to the point that they are ready to persuasively present the solution chosen and its benefits.

AIMS TO:

Participants will be better able to:-

Use creative techniques to generate ideas for potential solutions, both individually and working in groups
Use analytical techniques to work through options, and arrive at logical solutions supported by clear reasoning
Plan persuasive approaches to convince others of the solutions merits, and its benefits to them
